So it has effectively been 2 and a half year since my last post. It has been a wild ride since then. David and I have had the cutest and best midget ever. Then we decided the midget needed a friend and bought the biggest mistake ever. In short our family went from a cuddly two to an overcrowded 3 and a 4 legged friend.  Chandler joined our family on November 29, 2011 and Buster came along March 29, 2013.
Starting 2013 has been a fun year. We spent February in Yuma. It was so much fun with Mimi and Pop Pop. We saw them again in May for Disney World. What a blast meeting Minnie Mouse. Chandler's new obsession.
Coming back from DisneyWorld, started a whole new adventure. Chandler has developed sensitive skin. We have to watch what laundry detergent and sun screen Chandler wears.
Now to the beginning of the fun blog... We decided to try out cloth diapers. I know what are we thinking.
After talking to different people about the cloth diapering, I decided why not? Diapers are getting expensive.
Who knew all the different accessories that you can now get for cloth diapers. It is no longer the swishing of the soiled diapers in the toilet. There is now something called a diaper sprayer that attaches to the back of the toilet to make it easier. WHO KNEW!?!
Now there is now no more safety pins as well. Just Snaps or Velcro. We decided to go with the Hero Diaper by Croqi to try it out. They give you a free 30 day trial run with their diapers and the best part----They are on Amazon so you get the free 2 day shipping (if you are a Prime Member).
So I decided and pick my items to try. That is the hardest part right? After a  couple hours figuring out what diapers to go with and I finally talked the hubby into trying this adventure with me.

Two days later...
The boxes arrive at the door. I was so excited for those brown boxes with a smile to appear. This was going to be the start of a new diapering era. Maybe one step closer to the ultimate of potty training.
There I was opening the boxes and listening to the crinkle of the biodegradable plastic wrapping.
My first thought as I open them and laid them out so nicely like my most prized possessions; WHAT do I do now?
I had read up on the workings but never found one thing that gave instructions for what to do with them once you get them. Well for those like me who are totally clueless, if you get the basic pocket diapers with MicroFiber Inserts. The only thing you need to do is wash the Factory smell off them and hang them to dry. They are ready to go the next day! How exciting. More to Come on how they work out for us.

Re-cap of Recent Events

Hey Everyone,
So in case you haven't heard, I have a pet hedgehog. He is the best pet I have had. I absolutely love him and think he is very cool. His Indian Name is Hedgehog of Many Names (He has three names, I call him pin cushion, David calls him Bowser and the kids call him Sonic) I bring him to school everyday. He has two cages, one for school and one for home. Today at school, we caught him climbing the sides of the cage. I guess it is time to get him a wheel for the cage or let him have his bed. He has one at home but not one at school. Sorry about the picture quality all I had was my little tiny camera phone.
He looks like he was trying to get his bed through the top of the cage.

The adventures of painting.

David and I painted the spare bedroom. We are not professional painters... so don't ask us to paint because you do not want us to.

DISNEYLAND

We went to Disneyland for my graduation/ birthday present. After 2 days someone starts to stink.

Instead of paying for the pins that people trade, David and Amanda suckered Disney employees into giving them the free buttons that said what they were "celebrating".

This is a cool topiary in It's a Small World.
Awww...
That is what kissing brings... 3 kids in the car. No more room for them.

So... I didn't know anyone's eyes could do that.
One of the many faces of Jenna. She was cranky that afternoon. (the 8th dwarf)

Grand Canyon/Nascar Race

For David's birthday present, we went to the Nascar race in Phoenix with my family. On the way down we stopped by the Grand Canyon.

Some pictures from our trip west this summer.

Here are some pictures from our trip west. We went to Indiana, Nauvoo and Carthage Jail. We also went on a random Steam boat in Keokuk, Iowa. No the dog is not ours but my grandparents who we stayed in Indiana. sorry that the pictures are in a random order but I hate trying to mess around with the pictures on the blog. Hope you Enjoy.

This was the tiniest frog I have ever seen. They were down by the Rocky Hollow-Falls Canyon.

Is it any wonder my leg is in a cast?
